How does our OTP service work?

For the business

You send a request to our OTP API to send a code. In the request, you specify a template text, the user's phone number, and the authorization code.
GlobaHub generates a call with the code and transmits its status to your system: delivered/not delivered.

For the user

The user requests the code to confirm actions in online services, mobile applications, at the cash desk, sales office, etc.
Call is received on the specified number. The user must accept the incoming call and listen to the code.
If the code in the call is not received, the repeated code will be sent in SMS.

Security

When authorizing by SMS, attackers can use "fake" virtual numbers provided by many online services. This is not very good from a security point of view and can lead, for example, to fake orders in an online store, automatic registrations, or other undesirable situations. Authorization by call is a good and secure alternative to SMS. Services that provide phone numbers to receive calls are practically non-existent.
